Ordering

At HandCut Foods we offer personalized catering services for every event. Daily breakfast, lunch, and snack orders can be ordered online via: https://api.getspoonfed.com/1723/handcut-food-school-of-the-art-institute/

Pricing

Pricing is per guest unless otherwise stated. Some menus require a minimum number of guests to order. All orders require a $50.00 minimum unless otherwise noted. Weekend orders require a $250 food and beverage minimum.

Service Standard

Standard catering orders Monday through Friday between 8am-6pm are serviced as drop and set orders for no additional charge. Large orders with a food and beverage total in excess of $4,000, or orders including specialty equipment may incur an additional trucking fee.

Attendant Fees

Attendants are strongly recommended for buffet events over 50 guests. The number of attendants needed will be based upon the number of guests, the nature of the menu, and the timeline for the event. All events with alcohol will require our Basset Certified Bartenders.

A general guideline for attendant staffing is:

Buffet Events – 1 attendant per 50 guests

Passed Appetizers – 1 attendant per 25 guests

Plated Menus – 1 attendant per 15 guests

The fees are as follows:

Attendants / Servers are $50.00 per hour with a 4-hour minimum.

Bartenders are $55.00 per hour with a 4-hour minimum.

Onsite Chefs are $75.00 per hour with a 4-hour minimum.

Event Managers are $75.00 per hour with a 4-hour minimum.

China

In house china and glass service is available up to 50 guests for an additional fee of $1.50 per person. If additional or specialty china is required for your event, additional rental charges may apply. Alternately, high quality ecofriendly disposable ware is available at no additional charge.

Linens

House black linens are provided for all buffet tables with standard set up. If you would like linens for your guest tables, they are $8.99 each.

If you would like specialty linen we can supply them at market cost. Napkins are charged at the rate of $0.89 each.

For linen setups where no catering services are included, there will be an additional set up fee of $50 plus cost of the linen.

Order deadlines

We ask that all catering requests are placed a minimum of two business days prior to your event.

Larger events of 50 or more guests may require additional lead time. Whenever possible, we recommend contacting our catering manager a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the event.


Guaranteed Guest Counts

You must confirm the number of guests attending your event at least 2 business days prior the event. This number, or the original number if not updated by that time, will be considered your guaranteed guest count for billing and operations purposes.

For events involving more than 50 guests, a final count should be provided at least 3 business days in advance in order to ensure the availability of the food and other items required.

Cancellations

Cancellations should be made as soon as possible. If notice of cancellation is received 2 business days or less prior to the scheduled event, you will be charged for any expenses incurred in preparing for the event and the costs of any custom or specialty ordered items.

If notice is received 1 business day or less in advance, you will be charged the full cost of the event.

ALLERGIES & DIETARY RESTRICTIONS

HandCut Foods makes every possible effort to accommodate special requests and dietary restrictions. Due to our open kitchens that handle major allergens, including gluten and other ingredients for the preparation of other menu items, we cannot guarantee that items will be completely free of any ingredient.

While we make every effort to avoid cross-contact, the potential for cross-contact does still exist.
