Terms and Conditions
The Good Food Store Catering

Placement of Orders
It is a requirement that weekend catering orders be received by The Good Food Store no later than the previous Friday at 12.00 pm to allow for ordering and processing of your catering needs. 
Off-menu catering orders need to be placed two days before they are required. 

Last-minute orders
Our team is available to assist you and, as a result, we will make every effort to provide catering for last-minute orders. So we can give you an accurate and fast response when you call, we will check with the kitchen for product and delivery availability and call you back as soon as possible. 
A surcharge of 15% of the order will apply to orders placed on the same day to cover the individual food preparation and delivery.

Booking confirmation
For Drop Off catering orders, upon receipt of your catering order confirmation, ensure all details are correct including time of delivery or collection, number of people, location, and contact details. We need any alterations to be made in writing by email to catering@thegoodfoodstore.ie, and acknowledged by a member of our team.

Minimum numbers
Minimum order numbers apply as stated on menus for office and event catering.

Final catering numbers
We always try to accommodate changes in catering numbers.
Small changes must be lodged at least 8h before delivery time, and acknowledged by a member of our team.

Special dietary requirements
We understand the importance of catering for specialised dietary needs. Our menu has options of vegetarian, vegan & gluten-free food. We can tailor our menu to most dietary requirements if catering orders are confirmed within the above timelines.
Please note that we do not operate a nut-free kitchen.

Payment
A credit card will be required for all bookings, for customers that don’t hold an account with us. A payment link will be sent, and the order will be confirmed after payment.
 If you wish to go on account with The Good Food Store, you will need to fill in our credit application form for approval. Please email
accounts@thegoodfoodstore.ie to request one. Payment terms are 14 days from receipt of the invoice. An invoice will be emailed to you once the order is delivered. If the invoice needs to be sent to an alternate email address for processing please let us know.

Contract
By placing an online order you are offering to make a purchase from us. If accepted by us, this will result in a binding contract. We will send an email to the address provided by you to complete acceptance of your offer to purchase.

Cancellations
Cancellation charges will apply when your catering requirements have been confirmed, and where costs have been incurred in regard to food, labour, or other services. The following deadlines and fees apply to all cancellations:
More than 24h in advance – free of charge;
24h to 12h before delivery – a cancellation fee of 50% of the order total will be applied;
Less than 12h before delivery – the order total will be charged (exl. only delivery costs)

Due to the nature of our business, we must charge our customers the full cost of any order that is not cancelled within the required time. If you wish to cancel an Order in accordance with the  timelines outlined above, you must contact 
catering@thegoodfoodstore.ie in writing and confirm  your order number as set out on your order at the time of placement.

Delivery times
Standard delivery times are 8.00 am to 16.00 pm Monday to Friday.
Weekend delivery is available upon request. Delivery outside these times incur 15% surcharge.

*Additional charges including staffing will apply for weekends and outside operating hours. If orders are over €200 chef charges are waived.

Lost or Broken Equipment
Any lost or broken equipment will be charged at replacement cost.
By signing the Catering Confirmation order you agree to the above terms and conditions and accept responsibility to abide by these terms.

Delivery Charges (ex tolls)

0km – 3km - €12.50

3km – 5km  - €15.00

5km – 10km - €25.00

For deliveries outside 10km, please contact Good Food Store Directly, as additional surcharges will apply

*Collection of catering equipment provided FOC will incur a second delivery charge

* For large orders an additional person will be necessary and will incur a charge of €25 per delivery


Please ensure delivery access is always available at your location. If a mobile phone number is provided for contact, please ensure that the mobile phone is switched on. If access is not available at the agreed time of delivery, the driver may have to return at a later time resulting in an additional delivery fee, or the delivery may be canceled at the discretion of  The Good Food Store.
