Eat Good Do Good Order Terms & Conditions

Thank you for placing your order with Eat Good Do Good. Our catering provides valuable training and employment for ex-offenders, giving them an opportunity to turn their lives around.  When you place an order for our food – you will not only have great food, YOU will be making a positive difference to someone’s life.


1.        Shine is the Brand name for Harehills CIC Ltd

2.        The authority of the person placing the catering order will be accepted at face value.

3.        Payment must be made prior to the delivery of the order, either by credit card or bacs transfer.  The only exception to this is where an account has been established with Harehills CIC and an office Purchase Order has been issued prior to delivery.

4.        Harehills CIC Ltd retains the right to cancel an order in specific circumstances, including:

i.                      Harehills CIC not receiving full payment for the event prior to the delivery

ii.                    Circumstances beyond our control

5.        Once a signed order form is received, the order is considered to be confirmed.


1.        All food which is not consumed within 90 minutes at room temperature should be disposed of.  Any person subsequently consuming food, or taking food home for consumption, does so at their own risk.  Shine cannot accept responsibility for food consumed otherwise than the location at which the food is supplied, or after the initial 90 minute period.

2.        Food Allergies & Intolerances: Please note that all of our food contains allergenic ingredients.  Special diets for food allergies will be catered for only if they have been arranged prior to your event and confirmed in writing.


1.        Any time or date stated by the Company for the delivery or removal of goods required in the provision of services is an estimate only and shall not be an essential term of the contract.  Delivery and collection will be attempted to all reasonable areas at the venue or facility.  However should the access be restricted or additional time, personnel or facilities required, any additional costs will be passed on the the client.

2.        A Delivery Charge of 10% of the total invoice will be added.

3.        Where cutlery & crockery and other serving items are required there may be an additional delivery charge.

Staff Charges

1.        All staff charges are calculated at a minimum rate of four hours.  If staff are required to remain at the venue after this time, they will be charged for accordingly. 


1.        Harehills CIC Ltd excludes all legal liability for damages or compensation in the event the order is cancelled because of fire, flood, strike or other occurrences over which Harehills CIC Ltd has no control.

2.        The Client is responsible for any loss or damage to hired equipment, from the time of delivery until collection by Shine.  Any losses or breakages will be charged to the Client at full replacement costs.  The Client should, in their own interest, ensure that all such equipment is insured. 


1.        All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT.

2.        Full payment (100%) is required prior to delivery of food.

3.        Invoices will be issued after receiving a completed order form.

Cancellation Fees

1.      Regrettably Harehills CIC Ltd must impose 100% cancellation charges for simple food delivery orders cancelled with less than 48-hours’ notice. If the booking includes one of the following; staffing, equipment hire or is for more than 30 people the 100% cancellation is 7 days prior to the delivery.


1.      Any complaint shall be made promptly and in any event must be received at Shine’s address in writing not more than 7 days from the date of the event concerned.
