Terms & Conditions
All catering events must be booked through University Events (events@uindy.edu, 317-788-2135) prior to placing catering orders.
- Please adhere to the timelines noted on each menu:
- Plated Service/Custom Buffets - (2) Week Advance Notice
- Receptions/Themed Buffets - (1) Week Advance Notice
- Drop-Off Services - (3) Day Advance Notice
- If we are able to accommodate, a service fee of 8% will be added to all events that are requested within a (72) hour window.
- Attendant fee of $30 per hour and per attendant will be applied on all buffets. Any events requiring more than (1) attendant will be billed accordingly. We recommend (1) attendant per buffet and any extra attendants for additional services expected in the room (i.e. clearing tables, serving food items, etc.).
- All pricing based on china service at $3/per person to cover additional labor cost.
- Any off-site catering orders are subject to an 8% service fee based to cover the cost of transportation and labor.
- Any cancellations within (48) hours will be billed in full for anything our culinary team produces in-house.
- Standard serving ware sizes:
- Plates: Entrée - (9) inches, Salad - (7) inches, Appetizer/Dessert - (6) inches
- Cups: Coffee - (8) ounces, Beverage Station - (9) ounces, Standard Beverage - (12) ounces
- A service fee will be assessed independently with your catering director for any requested items that are outside of our outlined parameters (ie: special plates, linen, menu items, etc.). Your approval will be required in writing for any specialty items off menu before proceeding with the event.
- Client approval must be in writing for all custom menus.
- Any menu may be customized based on the client’s request for allergens.
- Prices have been determined based on menu items and choices listed.
- Any changes or additions to the listed menu items will result in additional charges.
- Any additional food or beverage requested during an event will also result in extra charges.
- In adherence to food safety regulations, it is our strict policy that there will be no credit given for leftover food items. Carry out containers of perishable food will not be provided or permitted to be used to take food off the premises.
- All buffets include a (2) hour time frame. Any extended time periods can be discussed with your catering director.
- All catering services must be paid in full. We accept a University of Indianapolis account number, company checks, or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express) for payment of services.
- Quest Food Management Services reserves the right to charge accordingly for any and all menu services that are not within the parameters of our dedicated catering menu. All service charges will be discussed with your catering director during the process of your event, and will require written approval from the client to proceed. Our commitment is transparency throughout this entire process.
